Grumpy's is a townie bar done right. Neighborhood & Hipster regulars merge to make a mixed crowd and down strong drinks while listening to Rock & Roll. You go to Grumpy's NE to have fun, mingle with a mixed crowd, and partake in numerous excellent beer choices.
The bar is small, but its the staff and the crowd that make it so special. Strong drinks, unique events, and a welcoming atmosphere are the things that make this one of the best bars in Northeast. Food is limited to pizzas and other snacks, but people don't come for the food, they come for great beer selection and great cocktails at discount prices (compared to downtown).
A great spot for any a chill evening...Also an outdoor smoking fire pit keeps the smokers warm.
Who doesn't love Grumpy's Northeast? The owner is one of the coolest guys in the city. The bartenders know beer and music. And prices are what you'd expect for a Nordeast dive bar; Meaning it blows downtown Minneapolis away!
Check it out for the patio, not the bathrooms:)
