Fuji Ya has the best sushi in uptown, located just off Lyn-Lake. The restaurant itself is quite large and can accommodate multiple large groups; despite the large number of people usually enjoying the succulent maki (try the Negi-hama on happy hour), it is still easy to get a seat right away. The decor is modern Japanese and features a bar and a sushi bar. Dinner time usually gets a large mix of ages, but the night time is generally for 20's-30's.
If you are in the mood for sushi, Fuji Ya has won multiple awards and is Minneapolis' premier sushi house.
