If you're looking for an upbeat place to take a date or fun night out with friends, Nick's is the place to go. It's located in the heart of Laguna, right across the street from the ocean. You can always expect a lively, young crowd here, especially on the weekends. For the quality of food Nick's serves you just can't beat the prices. The food can best be described as American comfort food with offerings on their menu that include Asparagus Fries and Deep Fried Deviled Eggs. They also serve a succulent Filet Mignon ($25) and fall off the bone short ribs ($18) as delectable entree selections. One of it's best kept secrets, besides there modestly priced wine list, is that Nick's offers free corkage. This is a great place to share a good bottle of wine amongst friends and watch as the people stroll past the outdoor patio which faces PCH. Nick's is also a great place to start your evening off right. It's conveniently located adjacent to favorite local bars like the Saloon.

We meet some friends for dinner and we were amazed at how fabulous the dinner was. The sea bass was outstanding and the sauteed spinach was excellent. The appetizers & dessert were great too! They have a incredible wine list and they actually had the wine we ordered unlike many other restaurants in the area that are always out of several top wine choices. Perfect spot in Laguna Beach.

This place simply serves some awesome food. It's true, it's a chain restaurant, but that shouldn't bother you. The ribs are fantastic and come with succulent fries. The artichoke dip is a great starter. The steaks and burgers are also highly recommended. The downside is they do not take reservations, and at nights it can get fairly crowded. Fortunately, they have a pretty hopping bar you can sit at while you wait for your table.
